If you are planning on attending the Austen Dance, you are strongly encouraged to attend our regularly scheduled English and Scottish country dance classes.

All regularly scheduled English country dances are held inside the Jewel Box Theatre in the Clark County Library at 1401 E. Flamingo Road. Regularly scheduled Scottish country dances are held at the Charleston Heights Arts Center at 800 S. Brush Street. Classes are held from 6:30 pm until 8:45 pm.

Partners are not necessary; you can come by yourself and be assured of dancing throughout the evening, since the tradition is to change partners for each dance.  Wear casual attire and soft soled shoes.
